I've begun the endeavor of getting myself integrated into the art networks. Things like Google+ and redoing my website! I've also picked up a job at the local art gallery teaching youth anime/manga art skills in seasonal programs, so that's exciting! I keep going back to kickstarter, wondering if that is an opportunity waiting to happen some day. So many avenues to explore and things to learn!

I'm starting with something simple as far as learning! I'm going to try and form a google hangout or skype group of artist invested in growing their skills and doing weekly or monthly challenges/projects together. I do so get tired of no one in 'my office' to draw with. So I thought how inspiring it would be to get together online with people.

Youch! It's been forever, I know! I'm happy to say that it has not been the same for my art! In fact it's become a staple for my career and a privileged to enjoy. I'll try and post some of it when I can. The other big factor in my life has been a NEW baby. Our son was born October 30th of 2012 and life's just become crazy! As things settle I know I'll have time for art again. I truly look forward to returning to many projects, new work, and of course art for me too! I hope everyone is doing well and miss many of you in the community. I wish you all the best as I try and stay more tuned in!

Ayeeeeeeeeeee me!!!

Life just got flipped upside down in a wonderful-wacky way!!!!
We have welcomed into our life our daughter, Jordan Elizabeth Conway! She was born July 23rd at 11:55 pm and weighed 6 lbs 10 ounces, measuring 19.21 inches and is -adorable-.

Motherhoods an adjustment... my mother in law bought me a shirt that said "Motherhood, the toughest job that you'll ever love" and i couldn't agree more. It's worthwhile, but for now sleep deprivation and learning are my life Good thing she's cute. I'll be posting a picture soon.

That said, until my life settles into a bit of a schedule and i'm healed up my art is on hold. That means the Kiriban winner, Tishie, I thank you for your understanding and patience in waiting for the prize peice!

I have to say though, this break from art plus a new life adjustment has me getting really excited and eager to return to art. I've found myself stale for inspiration and personal projects as of late. Now i'm pumped! And eager to look for more work when i return.

Till then i hope all are well and who knows, maybe another little artist in the family has been brewed >.> ... likely not, she'll probably play football or something o.0x
